NEWSWORTHY NOTES
• FINDING A GROOVE: After starting the year 2-4, the Falcons have found a groove as of late winning the last two games by a combined score of 27-11. In addition, the last two wins have come at home and have featured four man-up goals and 30 caused turnovers.
• BROKEN RECORD?: The Falcons are nearly halfway through the season and Paul Fisher already has 36 caused turnovers. The single-season program record is 43 set by Fisher last year.
• THE SERIES, LAST MEETING: Concordia Wisconsin won the only meeting between the two programs, a 9-7 decision on the road March 29 last season. The Falcons scored four goals in the second and third quarters, while Garrett Wohlford made 10 saves.
• SCOUTING NORTH CENTRAL: The Cardinals bring a four-game losing streak into Mequon and haven't won since a 23-1 victory over Northland on March 8. They have dropped the past four contests by a combined 22-41 goal differential. Noah Parrill is the facilitator with a team-high 20 assists and Jacob Ray is the main faceoff man having won double-digit attempts four times this season.
