Mt. St. Joseph clips Falcon lacrosse

Host Mt. St. Joseph (5-5) came back from an early 3 goal deficit to defeat CUW (6-2) 13-9 Saturday in Cincinnati. Both teams are now 3-1 in conference action.

Justin Krause scored 3 times for Concordia's upstart first-year squad but Mt. St. Joseph scored 8 of the final 11 goals as the Falcons wore down in the second half.

St. Joseph outshot Jeff Roberts' team 35-29 and scooped up 29 ground balls compared to 20 for Concordia.

CUW got 2 scores from Cody Chassels and one each from Samuel Wladyka, Danny Dahms, Andrew Wilson, and Quinn Moon.
