Bio

Doug Coleman begins his first season as a coach with the Concordia University Wisconsin Men's Hockey program. Coleman will work primarily with the JV program and brings several years of experience as a high school hockey coach to the Falcons program.

Coleman previously served as the co-head coach of the University School of Milwaukee high school program, a role he held since 1997. During his time at USM, his teams compiled an overall record of 256-98-13, winning two state championships and four conference championships. His teams appeared at the state tournament nine times during his tenure.

Coleman also coached hockey at both Bridgton Academy and Scarborough High School and had experience at the collegiate level as well before joining the high school ranks. He served as an assistant coach, as well as the head JV Hockey Coach at Lake Forest College and had a stint as the graduate assistant with both the hockey and soccer programs at Norwich University.

Coleman graduated from Lake Forest College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and History. He also received his Master's of Education in Physical Education from Norwich University.
