MEQUON, Wis. – The CUW field hockey team took on the College of Wooster Fighting Scots on Sunday morning for the second game of the weekend.
The Falcons went down early with a Wooster goal in the first minute. The Falcons responded quickly scoring off the stick of freshman Paige Armijo (Reseda, Calif.) with a helper from Lorri Pitock, a junior from Naperville, Illinois.
That would be the Falcons' lone goal of the game that would see three more Scots goals.
Junior Emily Binley (Suffolk, Va.) recorded 10 saves in her 60 minutes in net.
The Falcons registered six shots and six penalty corners on the game.
The Falcons return to Tomasini Stadium for their first conference game of the season on Saturday.
