Credentialed: Falcons honor seniors, host Hope to conclude season
MEQUON, Wis. -- Concordia Wisconsin concludes the 2017 season by honoring its seniors prior to the game before kicking off against Hope at 12 pm at Tomasini Stadium.

NOTES TO CONSIDER
• SENIOR CLASS: Concordia Wisconsin honors 16 seniors prior to today's game. Their largest margin of victory during over the past four years was a 42-6 season-opening triumph over Finlandia to begin the 2017 campaign.
• DUNLAP TACKLES HIS WAY TO CAREER GAME: Rookie Justin Dunlap had a career game last week with 18 tackles (11) in a home game against Aurora. He had nine tackles by halftime, including four on one Spartans drive. He is the third player during head coach Greg Etter's tenure to record 18 tackles in a game (Bryan Thomas vs. Augsburg on 09/13/14 and Matt Upson vs. Concordia Chicago on 10/13/12).
• EDWARDS TAKING ADVANTAGE OF CARRIES: Freshman Jordan Edwards has started the last five games at running back for the Falcons and is really coming into his own as the feature back the last two weeks. He has tallied 45 carries for 243 yards (5.4 average) and two touchdowns. Edwards is the only running back with 100-yard rushing games this season and he leads the team with 425 yards on the ground.
• RED ZONE EFFICIENCY: Concordia Wisconsin is the most efficient team in the red zone amongst NACC schools this season at 81 percent (22-of-27). They have been inside the opposition's 20-yard line at least three times in five games and are 11-of-12 over the past four games, scoring eight touchdowns.
• TAKEAWAYS CONTINUE: The Falcons defense has tallied 21 takeaways this season and has at least one forced turnover in 21-consecutive games.
• COMMON OPPONENTS: Hope and Concordia Wisconsin have two common opponents this season, in Lakeland and Albion. The Flying Dutchmen have defeated both of those opponents by a combined score of 85-45, while the Falcons were unable to put a check in the win column for either game.
• OFFENSIVE SHOW: The Flying Dutchmen can move up and down the field quickly, evident by their 400 yards per game. They have piled on over 500 yards in each of the last two games, which includes 769 of those yards on the ground. In addition, they average 34.1 points per game and at least 30-plus points in six contests this season.
• POUNDING THE ROCK: Brandan Campbell has been electric for the Flying Dutchmen this season, racking up 1,135 yards on 174 carries (6.5 average), to go along with 13 touchdowns. He ranks top-32 in the NCAA for every rushing category. The senior has six 100-yard games and two 200-plus yard rushing games this year. As well, five times he has found pay dirt multiple times.
• SACK ATTACK: Hope knows how to get to the quarterback, evident by its 29 sacks this season which ranks 18th nationally. They have five players with at least 2.5 sacks and are led by Zach Telfor who has 8.5 sacks. Hope has nine sacks over the past two games.
• KEEPING DRIVES ALIVE: Third-down is important to keeping drives alive and eventually scoring points, which Hope has done well this season. They are converting 48 percent of their third-down attempts (60-of-126) this season, which ranks 20th nationally.
