Falcons Take Two Titles at the NCATA Division III Tournament Event Finals

BELTON, Texas – The Concordia Wisconsin acrobatics & tumbling team closed the 2023 season on Saturday at the National Collegiate Acrobatics and Tumbling Association Division III Tournament Event Finals.

The Falcons competed in the six-element acro heat, the synchronized pyramid, open pyramid, 450 salto toss, synchronized toss, open toss, trio tumbling pass, quad tumbling pass and the open tumbling pass.

The way the scores are reported, at this time, only the winning scores were announced.

The Falcons won their first title of the day in the 450 salto toss at 9.65 points with the team of junior Paityn Taormina (Geneva, Ill.), junior Eliana Schmit (Germantown, Wis.), senior Jessi Alexander (Plainfield, Ill.), sophomore Ellen Marie Sanders (Joppa, Md.) and junior Amanda Owens (Stevens Point, Wis.).

Paityn Taormina ended the day with the crown in the open pass at 9.000 points. This is the second-straight year that she has claimed the honor.

The Falcons return to action again in 2024.
