Sophomore. Jon Egen opened the season with a 6th-place finish at the 8th Annual Concordia Open in November. The team traveled to the UW-River Falls duals in early December but lost three tight duals to begin the season 0-4.

The team would bounce back with a pair of wins against MSOE & Wheaton to head into The Florida Citrus Invite 2-4.
 

The team went 0-3 in Florida but lost tight duals to Rhode Island College and Wilmington College OH. The Florida Citrus Invite saw the team place 11th.

 

At the North Central Invite the Falcons had their best showing of the season, placing 9th out of 20 teams with Ben Schwoerer winning the title at 184 lbs.

Schwoerer defeated Ben Hirt (Wheaton) in the finals, 4-2. Other placers included Randy Gonsalves (8th at 157) and Jon Egen (7th at 165).

 

In February, the Falcons placed 2nd at the conference meet, 4.5 points behind MSOE. Winning individual titles were Brian Utke (125) and Randy Gonsalves (157). Runner-ups included Travis Schuett (141), Jeremy Fischer (149), Andy Witkowski (174), and Ben Schwoerer (184).

Team results: MSOE 100.5, CUW 96, Maranatha Baptist 66.5, Lakeland College 46.

 
At the NCAA III Regional, Ben Schwoerer led the Falcons with a 5th-place finish at 197.
