Men’s Cross Country Finishes Ninth at Whitewater

WHITEWATER, Wis. – The Falcons competed in the very competitive Wisconsin – Whitewater Tom Hoffman Invitational on Saturday morning and finished in ninth place with 248 points. The host Warhawks led the field with 30 points.

Sophomore Tim Brey (Cedarburg, Wis.) led the flock in 35th place at 27:38.9.

Sophomore Richard Schaefer (Racine, Wis.) secured a 47th-place finish at 27:56.8.

In 86th place was senior William Ebel (Macomb, Mich.) at 29:03.3.

Crossing the finish line at 30:19.8 was freshman Dominic Willadson (Sheboygan, Wis.) in 119th place.

The Falcons had a back-to-back finish with sophomore Jack Ramstack (Colgate, Wis.) and freshman Matthew DiMercurio (Florissant, Mo.) in 145th and 146th place at 32:12.3 and 32:13.5 respectively.

Freshman Leo Roemer (Whitefish Bay, Wis.) finished in 154th place at 32:43.7.

Sophomore Ryan Klug (Arlington, Va.) clocked in at 33:15.8 in 160th place.

Sophomore Joshua Peterson (Palatine, Ill.) propelled himself to a 176th-place finish at 34:56.0.

The Falcons will compete again on Oct. 1 at Wisconsin – Eau Claire.
