Bio

David Cooks completed his fifth season as an assistant coach with the Concordia University Wisconsin Men's Basketball program for the 2017-18 season. He comes to CUW from Marquette University High School in Milwaukee, where he has taught and coached for 14 years.

Most recently, Cooks completed 11 seasons as the Varsity Boys basketball head coach. During his time as head coach, Cooks led the team to a 155-91 overall record including the school's first WIAA State Tournament appearance in 2010.

Cooks earned his Bachelor's Degree in finance from UW-Whitewater in 1986 and his Master's Degree in business administration from Duke University in 1993, where he worked for the legendary Coach Mike Krzyzewski and the Duke Men's Basketball program.

He resides in Wauwatosa, Wis., with his wife MariPat.
