Cheerleading competes at It's Showtime event

STEVENS POINT, Wis. -- Concordia University Wisconsin's Cheerleading team took first in its division at the It's Showtime competition held at UW-Stevens Point on Jan. 11 inside the Quant Field House.

Over 60 teams attended the competition including, UW-Oshkosh and UW-Stevens Point. The Falcons took first in their division and also received a bid to compete in Chicago for a ranking in the U.S. Finals. Amanda Kolander and Lexi Van Erden preformed particularly well and were the recipients of individual "WOW" awards. The entire team competed at a high level and received excellent feedback from the judges.
