Sam Beers secures NACC North Position Player of the Week honor
MEQUON, Wis. - The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced Sam Beers as the North Division Position Player of the Week on Tuesday morning.
A junior from Janesville, Wisconsin, Sam Beers is claiming the NACC North Position Player of the Week honor for the second time this season.
Last week, he collected seven hits, including two doubles and one home run. Beers also scored five runs and 13 runs batted in. The Janesville native also drew three walks in game two against Rockford.
Beers and the Falcons return to action on Tuesday at Carthage.
