Women's Cross Country compete at Benedictine Eagle Invite

WARRENVILLE, Ill. – Mackenzie Dorth led the Falcons with a time of 24:27.7 as Concordia University Wisconsin placed tenth at the Benedictine Eagle Invite.

THE BASICS
-Falcons Finish: 10th of 16 (274 points)
-Location: St. James Farm – Warrenville, Ill.
-Falcons Top Five: Dorth, Verbeke, Secor, Christiansen, Brandenstein

RESULTS
-The University of Chicago took first as a team with an average time of 23:45.3 and 48 points. The Falcons' average time was 26:23.6 as they finished with 274 points.

-Dorth (West Bend, Wis.) finished with a time of 24:27.7 to place 23rd overall. Hannah Anderson of Northwestern University won the race with a time of 22:19.8.

-Emma Verbeke (Appleton, Wis.) followed Dorth for the Falcons to place 49th overall with a time of 24:50.8.

-Hannah Secor (Marengo, Ill.), Leslie Christiansen (Morton Grove, Ill.), and Hannah Brandenstein (Oconomowoc, Wis.) rounded out the top five for the Falcons with times of 27:04.3, 27:44.5, and 27:50.8 respectively.
