Women's Cross Country places 10th Friday

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The Concordia University Wisconsin Women's Cross Country Team placed 10th in its second meet of the season, this time competing at the Brissman Lundeen Invitational. The Falcons competed in the Blue Division, as the women's race was split up into two races.

THE BASICS
- Falcons Finish: 10th of 17 (279 points)
- Location: Saukie Golf Course – Rock Island, Ill.
- Falcons Top Five – Cassandra Sprotte, Nora Imperl, Adrianna Lubner, Martha Kulberg, Rileigh Dunning.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Sprotte (Abbotsford, Wis.) paced the Falcons with a 17th-place finish as she navigated her way through the course in a time of 20:01.2. Finishing just behind her was Nora Imperl (Greenfield, Wis.), who was making her 2017 debut. Imperl placed 19th, clocking in at 20:05.7

- Freshman Adrianna Lubner (Campbellsport, Wis.) was next in line for the Falcons, finishing the race in a time of 21:10.2. Next in line for CUW was Martha Kulberg (Maple Grove, Minn.) who posted a time of 21:32.1.

- The final runner to count towards the Falcons team score was freshman Rileigh Dunning (La Mesa, Calif.). Dunning posted a 22:35.6 on Friday.
