ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Falcons closed a four-game road trip on Saturday with a 6-1 loss at Hamline.
The Pipers scored three goals in the first six minutes to take command of the game.
Sophomore Baileigh Johnson (Neillsville, Wis.) scored the lone CUW goal of the game.
Senior Emily Godwin (London, Ont.) was credited with the assist.
The Pipers closed the game on a 3-0 run.
The Falcons were a perfect three-for-three on the penalty kill.
Senior Breanna Thomson (St. Mary's, Ont.) finished with 43 saves.
The Falcons host Trine on Friday in the NCHA opener.
