MEQUON, Wis. – Concordia Wisconsin drained a 3-pointer less than 10 seconds into the game and never looked back during a lopsided 97-27 victory over Illinois Tech during NACC play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Falcons were highly proficient on offense, doing everything they wanted on Wednesday evening inside the R. John Buuck Field House. They drained had season-highs in 3-pointers (14), offensive rebounds (17), total rebounds (48), while also setting a program record with 26 assists.
- While they were scoring buckets at will, they valued the basketball with just seven turnovers in the game. Those few errors were the lowest since committing five at Alverno on February 3 of last season.
- All 11 players that saw action scored at least three points, with five in double-figures. Freshman Signe Fronek (Weston, Wis.) led all players with a season-high 14 points, while also pulling down seven rebounds.
- Freshman Hannah Boettcher (Columbus, Wis.) tallied 13 points, while freshman Aubrey Buchholtz (Seymour, Wis.) had 11 points, five rebounds and two steals.
- Junior Clara Chambers (Mineral Point, Wis.) and sophomore Emily Hafemann (Hales Corners, Wis.) each netted 10 points and three assists.
GAME NOTES
- Concordia Wisconsin shot 48.7 percent (37-of-76) from the field and held Illinois Tech to 23.1 percent (9-of-39). They also forced 22 turnovers and converted those miscues into 39 points.
- The Falcons ended with a 42-14 advantage in points in the paint, a 56-2 difference in bench points and 17-0 in second-chance points.
- The hosts also scored 31 points in the opening quarter, which is the most in a period this season.
