Women's Basketball team provides fish fry assistance

CEDARBURG, Wis.- Members of the Concordia Wisconsin women's basketball team combined with a number of CUW football players to provide assistance at the Cedarburg Legion Post 288 Halloween Fish Fry last Friday evening.

Falcon athletes set up and bused tables, took orders, and played greeter/ hostess for the annual event. "It's so important to give back to the community," said CUW coach Stacey Brunner-Jones. The Cedarburg Legion Post especially, has provided so much help at Concordia on-campus events for us.

"On a much larger scale, what the veterans have done for us all during their lifetimes can teach our young CUW women about honor, hard work, commitment, and sacrifice. This is one small way of showing our appreciation," finalized Brunner-Jones.
