Pair of Falcons record double-doubles for Men's Volleyball

MEQUON, Wis. -- Concordia Wisconsin took the second set and had momentum built, but it wasn't enough as Lakeland ended up with a 3-1 (25-19, 13-25, 25-19, 25-18) victory during NACC play on Saturday afternoon inside the R. John Buuck Field House.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Concordia Wisconsin dominated the second set, building an 11-6 early led and slowing increased it to 21-12. They slammed the door shut with three unanswered points to win 25-13 and even the match at a set apiece. They hit .286 in the frame and limited Lakeland to -.103.
- The Muskies offense came to life and the Falcons momentum faded, as the visitors hit .290 and .303 in the third and fourth sets to win and claim a 3-1 league victory.
- Sophomore Isaac Glynn (Bryon, Minn.) had an outstanding match with 10 kills and 10 digs for his first career double-double, while also serving two aces. Sophomore Sam Rovik (Silver Lake, Wis.) smashed nine kills, served a pair of aces, during eight attack attempts and had three blocks.
- Freshman James Althoff (Kenosha, Wis.) returned to the lineup and registered seven kills and 17 digs. Freshman Connor Muff (Kenosha, Wis.) dished out 31 assists and had 10 digs for his first career double-double. He also had a season-high six blocks.
- Defensively, freshman Cody Sciabica (Henderson, Nev.) was firm up the middle with two solo blocks and two block assists. As well, sophomore Blake Schwandt (Kenosha, Wis.) recorded a solo block and five block assists.
- Nathan Vanderwaal led all players with 16 kills, while Desmond Williams had 11 kills for Lakeland. Cameron Ekum recorded a double-double (36 assists, 11 digs).

MATCH NOTES
- The Falcons had double-digit block assist for the 11th time this season.
- It was also the first time in program history two Falcons recorded a double-double in the same match.
