Men’s Volleyball excited to start a strong 2019 schedule

MEQUON, Wis. – Concordia Wisconsin's men's volleyball program is excited about a strong 2019 schedule.

The Falcons were predicted to finish eighth in the Northern Athletic Collegiate Conference preseason poll. CUW received 40 points. Dominican is projected to finish in first place in the NACC with 154 points and 10 first-place votes. Benedictine is projected to finish second at 150 points in the NACC preseason poll.

The Blue and White will have a challenging schedule in 2019, as they will face four teams that are receiving votes in the AVCA Division III Men's preseason coaches poll. Three NACC schools are receiving votes in the AVCA poll, with Dominican at No. 7, Benedictine at No. 14 and MSOE receiving votes.

The Falcons will have 13 home matches in 2019, with three in January, six in February, two in March and two in April. CUW opens the year on January 18 at home against North Park and Greenville in the first of two triangulars it hosts. After starting the year at home they hit the road for three in a row before returning to the R. John Buuck Field House for seven of the next nine matches. They begin NACC play on February 6 at 7 pm against MSOE in a home match. The NACC Tournament takes the top six teams in the standings, with the winner receiving the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
