Men’s Track & Field competes at Carroll

WAUKESHA, Wis. – The CUW men's track & field team finished in fifth place at the Carroll Pioneer Invitational in fifth place with 24.33 points.

Junior Brandon Wooden (Milwaukee, Wis.) had the best CUW finish of the day in the triple jump in fourth place at 12.71 meters. He also had a jump of 6.00 meters in the long jump in sixth place.

Sophomore Brandon Hargis (Henderson, Nev.) also notched a fourth-place finish on the day in the javelin throw at 44.92 meters. Hargis also finished 12th in the hammer throw at 38.35 meters.

Freshman Jack Kral (Kohler, Wis.) finished in seventh place in the 1500-meter run at 4:20.58.

In the shot put, freshman Gideon Cain (Cedarburg, Wis.) recorded a seventh-place finish at 13.13 meters.

Freshman Austin Lopez (Ripon, Wis.) finished at 1.79 meters in the high jump in seventh place.

Junior Samual Spranger (Fond du Lac, Wis.) clocked in at 22.54 in the 200-meter dash in eighth place.

In the 100-meter dash, sophomore Paul Leahy (Eldridge, Iowa) finished in ninth place at 11.50.

Sophomore Dawson Ziegler (Franklin, Wis.) cleared 3.50 meters at pole vault in ninth place.

At 2:05.11, freshman William Ebel (Macomb, Mich.) finished in 10th place in the 800-meter run.

Junior Henry Jensen (Muskego, Wis.) finished in ninth place in the 400-meter hurdles at 1:01.75. He also placed 12th in the 110-meter hurdles at 19.09.

The Falcons will compete at the Wisconsin Private College Championship on April 6.
