Men’s Track & Field takes 13th place at Titan Challenge

OSHKOSH, Wis. – The Falcons competed at the UW-Oshkosh Titan Challenge on Saturday afternoon. The Falcons finished in 13th place with 3.5 points in a field of teams from NCAA Division II and III. Saturday was the last competition before the NACC Indoor Championships on Saturday.

Junior Samual Spranger (Fond du Lac, Wis.) recorded the highest CUW finish of the day on the track in the 200-meter dash. Spranger clocked in at 22.63 in seventh place. The time is the third-fastest in school history.

Senior Grant Johnson (Oconomowoc, Wis.) also locked down a seventh-place finish in the pole vault at 4.16 meters.

Junior Brandon Wooden (Milwaukee, Wis.) secured a top-10 finish in the triple jump at 12.92 meters. He also finished 25th in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.35 and finished in 22nd place in the long jump at 5.94 meters.

Junior Henry Jensen (Muskego, Wis.) clocked in a time of 53.56 in the 400-meter dash in 19th place. Jensen also placed 27th in the 60-meter hurdles at 9.81.

In the 800-meter run, freshman William Ebel (Macomb, Mich.) crossed the finish line at 2:05.82 in 30th place.

Freshman Gideon Cain (Cedarburg, Wis.) had a throw of 12.82 meters in the shot put for a 24th-place finish.

Junior Ryan Curran (Spring Grove, Ill.) led CUW in the weight throw in 37th place at 11.49 meters.

The Falcons will compete at the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Indoor Championships on Saturday.
