MEQUON, Wis. – The Falcons shut out the Edgewood Eagles on Wednesday night as they earned a 1-0 conference victory at Fitting Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The opening half was scoreless for both teams. CUW led the period in shots on goal 7-2.
- Jackson Dryden (Whitefish Bay, Wis.) broke the stalemate in the 54th minute of regulation as he took a deflected shot by Gilberto Gomez (Zion, Ill.) and sent it past the Eagle keeper to put the Falcons up 1-0. Gomez earned the assist on the game-winner.
- CUW and Edgewood were an even 9-9 in shots in the second half, but Nate Yeager (Rio Rancho, N.M.) recorded his fourth shutout of the season while saving seven shots on the Falcon net.
