King’s strike leads undefeated Men’s Soccer over UW-Platteville

MEQUON, Wis. – The Falcons recorded their fourth consecutive shutout win with a 1-0 victory over the UW-Platteville Pioneers on Saturday afternoon. Concordia Wisconsin stays undefeated and improved to 6-0 on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Will King (Maidenhead, United Kingdom) scored the lone goal for the Falcons in the 10th minute of the match. The sophomore launched a rocket from 25-yards out to the upper right corner that snuck in past the hands of the Pioneer keeper. The goal would end up being the game-winner as the Falcons recorded another shutout on the season.
- Nate Yeager (Rio Rancho, N.M.) recorded six saves in goal to record his second shutout of the season.
- The match was closely contested throughout the entirety of regulation time. The Falcons and Pioneers each finished with 11 shots.
