MEQUON, Wis. – Simon Da-Silva and Dagoberto Diaz each scored twice in Concordia Wisconsin's 6-0 rout of Concordia Chicago on Saturday in the final home match of the regular season for the Falcons.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Falcons got off to a blazing fast start when Da-Silva (Lagos, Nigeria) ran down the field and scored 13 seconds into the game. CUW added another goal in the first period when Gavin Falotico (Palatine, Ill.) sent a pass from beyond the right penalty area to the crowded goalie box, where Antonio Gurrola-Flores (Sheboygan, Wis.) headed it in to put the Falcons up by two.
-Da-Silva kickstarted a four-goal second period for the Falcons with his second goal of the game 2:08 into the half. Cristian Tyrpak (Hartford, Wis.) assisted on the goal.
-Diaz (Woodburn, Ore.) followed with his first goal of the day on an unassisted effort to put the Falcons up by four.
-The final two goals were scored through the work of Diaz and Tyrpak. Diaz assisted Tyrpak with his team-leading seventh goal of the season, after which Tyrpak assisted Diaz as the senior scored his second of the day to cap off the 6-0 rout.
-CUW controlled the match from the start, outshooting CUC 35-2 on the day. The Cougars had 19 saves in the match, while the Falcons saved the lone shot on goal by the Cougars.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
-This was the 15th match between Concordia Wisconsin and Concordia Chicago in Men's Soccer program history. The Falcons are undefeated in the series with a 15-game winning streak dating back to the first contest on September 25, 2004.
-The Falcons have shut out opponents in back-to-back games. They previously shut out NACC-leader MSOE on Wednesday, October 17.
