Falcons Dance wins first-ever CIT Competition

MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia University Wisconsin Dance Team claimed the first-ever CIT Dance Competition Championship Saturday. The event was held before the Women's Basketball Championship game, and the Falcons brought home the first title.

CUW scored 82.83 points, winning by over 15 points over runner-up Concordia Chicago (67.5). Concordia Ann Arbor finished third, followed by Concordia Nebraska.

"The team did a great job, leading up to CIT they put in a lot of hard work and long hours and it definitely paid off in the end!" said Dance head coach Lyndsey Sheridan. "The atmosphere was great and we are excited to be the first-ever CIT Dance Champions."

A cheer competition was also held Saturday with Concordia Ann Arbor winning. Concordia Nebraska was second, followed by Concordia Chicago and Concordia Wisconsin.
