Serres nets hat trick in ACHA Hockey win over Lewis

­ROMEOVILLE, Ill.  Benny Serres scored thrice for the Falcons to propel Concordia Wisconsin to a 5-3 win over Lewis on Friday night. 

THE BASICS
-Final Score: Concordia Wisconsin 5, Lewis 3
-Records: Concordia Wisconsin 11-16, Lewis 6-17

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Serres (Merton, Wis.) scored the final three goals for the Falcons. The senior first struck with 9:13 remaining in the second period.
-With 1:47 remaining in the final frame, Serres scored the game-winner to put the Falcons up 4-2.
-With 25 seconds remaining in the game, Serres found the net once more to complete his hat trick.
-Eric Johnson (Plainfield, Ill.) and Andrew Doepp (New Lenox, Ill.) had goals early in the game for the Falcons.
-Nate Eminger (Green Bay, Wis.) had 46 saves in goal for the Falcons.
