LaNea Bartel Collects NACC Weekly Honor

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced LaNea Bartel as its Student-Athlete of the Week for women's cross country on Wednesday morning.

A senior from Kewaunee, Wisconsin, LaNea Bartel is claiming the honor for the first time this season.

This is the fourth time in her career that she has earned the honor.

On Saturday, she finished third out of 77 runners at the Carthage Firebird Classic with a personal-best 6-kilometer time of 23:32.7. She was the second-fastest collegiate runner in the event and the top runner from a NACC school.

Bartel and the Falcons will run at the Wisconsin Private College Championships on Saturday morning.
