Falcons finish fifth at NACC Championships

WEST ALLIS, Wis. – The CUW women finished in fifth place at the NACC Cross Country Championships on Saturday. The Blue and White finished with 124 points. Edgewood claimed the NACC title with 47 points.

Junior LaNea Bartel (Kewaunee, Wis.) earned All-NACC honors with a ninth-place finish at 26:15.39.

In 18th place was freshman MaryGrace Cleinmark (Danvers, Ill.) at 27:33.16.

The Falcons had a back-to-back finish in 29th and 30th place in freshman Micah Hill (Camdenton, Mo.) and junior Alden Goucher (Port Charlotte, Fla.) at 28:09.63 and 28:09.89.

Freshman Madison Chiappetta (Lenexa, Kan.) crossed the finish line at 29:11.02 in 46th place.

Sophomore Alyssa Jodarski (Eldorado, Wis.) clocked in at 31:11.44 in 62nd place.

Freshman Kaitlynn Sabish (Campbellsport, Wis.) secured a spot in 70th place at 32:11.89.

Emma Roberts of Benedictine claimed the NACC title at 24:34.58.

The Falcons will compete at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regionals on Nov. 16.
