Volleyball competes against Wisconsin Lutheran in spring competition date

MILWAUKEE – Concordia University Wisconsin competed against Wisconsin Lutheran College during its only spring competition date on April 20 at the Recreation Complex.

"We are working on new skills and refining our technique," head coach Janelle Gabrielsen said. "It was nice to have a chance to put all our hard work into action against WLC. The players and I were excited to play someone other than ourselves."

Sophomore Carly Valentine (Green Bay, Wis.) directed the offense with over 10-plus assists, while freshman Jessica Eggebrect (Napoleon, Ohio) was the team's leader in kills. Defensively, sophomore Erin Howard (Labadie, Mo.) and freshman Kelsa Rubeck (Eau Claire, Wis.) each played well defensively.
