Women’s Tennis sweeps St. Scholastica

MEQUON, Wis.  – The Falcons soared on Friday night with a 9-0 victory to get back into the win column against St. Scholastica. The Falcons improve to 2-1 on the year.

The Falcons started the sweep with an 8-1 victory at No. 3 doubles by Jennifer Mies and freshman Mallory Moen.

Junior Ashley Saniter and freshman Auden Pearson earned an 8-6 victory at court two on Friday night.

Junior Ricki Budewitz and freshman Ashley Samuta secured the doubles sweep with an 8-7 victory at No. 1 doubles.

Mia Andrae made quick work of Julia Eilfson at No. 5 singles, 6-3, 6-0.

Junior Elizabeth Johnson rallied back from down, 0-4, to defeat Maria Valentini at No. 6 singles, 6-4, 6-0.

At No. 4 singles, junior Jennifer Mies knocked out Maya Nibble, 6-3, 6-2.

Mallory Moen sank Ava Warren on court three, 6-3, 6-3.

Ashley Samuta secured a 6-3, 7-5 victory over Madilyn Jankila at No. 2 singles.

Ricki Budewitz completed the sweep with a 4-6, 7-6, 1-0 victory over Julia Maier at No. 1 singles.

The Falcons look to keep the ball rolling on Sunday against Carroll.
