MEQUON, Wis. – The Falcons finished the 2018-19 season with an overall record of 15-8. The Blue and White closed the year with a second-place finish in the NACC at 9-1.

The Blue and White advanced to the NACC Tournament finals against Edgewood. CUW defeated Illinois Tech in the semifinals, 5-4.

CUW flew south this spring to soak up the Florida sunshine and played teams from across the country.

The Falcons recorded their first-ever victory over Carthage in April.

The Blue and White secured a handful of All-NACC selections in freshman Ricki Budewitz (Watertown, Wis.), senior Bailey Kelly (Racine, Wis.) and senior Ashley Solberg (Waukesha, Wis.). The Falcons also have two All-NACC doubles teams in Ashley Solberg and junior Rebekah Spiegelhoff (Mount Pleasant, Wis.) and Bailey Kelly and Ricki Budewitz.

Ricki Budewitz earned the title of NACC Freshman of the Year.

Bailey Kelly broke the NACC record for career singles victories in April with 73 victories.

With a team filled with six freshmen, the Falcons look forward to another strong outing in 2019-20.
