Women's Soccer falls to Elmhurst

ELMHURST, Ill. – The Concordia University Wisconsin Women's Soccer team was defeated 2-0 by Elmhurst College on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Falcons are still looking for their first win of the season.

THE BASICS

-Final Score: Elmhurst 2, Concordia Wisconsin 0

-Location: Langhorst Field – Elmhurst, Ill.

-Records: Concordia Wisconsin 0-3, Elmhurst 3-0

HOW IT HAPPENED

-The Bluejays jumped out to a quick lead as Brittany Reinhart scored 3:10 into the match. The goal was Reinhart's first of the season.

-Kennedy Irmen added to the Elmhurst lead with a goal, her first of the year, at the 57:22 mark. Irmen headed in a deflected corner kick to score the final goal of the match.

-The Falcons took six shots in the match. Crosbie Kowalski (Milwaukee, Wis.) and Isabel Downs (Menomonee Falls, Wis.) each had a shot on goal.

-Olivia Kindt (Dyer, Ind.) had six saves for the Falcons, thrice as many as Bluejays' goalie Sophia Tuliglowski.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

Even with the loss, the Falcons hold a 2-1 series lead over Elmhurst in program history.
