Padilla places 2nd at CCIW Championship

DECATUR, Ill. -- Marco Padilla has had an impressive season and placed second at the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Wrestling Championship on Thursday. The Falcons had six placers at the tournament.

"The team competed with a lot of heart today," head coach Kevin Koch said. "We did not have the result we were looking for. We're going to continue to practice hard and clean up some things to get prepared for the national qualifier in two weeks."
