Wrestling competes at MSOE Invitational

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Concordia Wisconsin had a difficult day at the 15th Annual MSOE Invitational on Saturday inside the Kern Center, with four wrestlers earning a win.

THE BASICS
Location: Kern Center (Milwaukee, Wis.)
Falcon Individuals: Ramiro Vasquez 0-2 (133 pounds), Connor Noaln 1-2 (149 pounds), Cameron Caldwell 1-2 (165 pounds), Alex Montbriand 1-2 (165 pounds), Sean Kaake 0-2 (184 pounds), Bryan Diaz 0-2 (197 pounds), Reid McNeil 0-2 (197 pounds), Danny Fay 0-2 (197 pounds), Collin Riley 1-2 (285 pounds)

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Freshman Connor Nolan (Beloit, Wis.) picked up a win by fall in one minute and 44 seconds over Joaquin Montero (St. Olaf) at 149 pounds.
- Freshman Cameron Caldwell (Adams-Friendship, Wis.) earned a win by fall in 3:55 against Gaven Smith (Millikin) at 165 pounds.
- Junior Alex Montbriand (Bartlett, Ill.) recorded a 7-6 decision victory over Matt Tobin (Elmhurst).
- Freshman Collin Riley (San Antonio, Texas) had an 11-2 major decision win versus Ethan Smith (Elmhurst).
