Paquin adds IWLCA All-Region accolades to her résumé

GRAND LAKE, Colo. -- Lauren Paquin concludes her impressive career by adding Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association All-Great Lakes Region Second Team honors to her résumé.

The senior midfielder ends her record-breaking career by being named to the all-region team for the first time in her career. She was also named the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference Midfielder of the Year and All-MWLC First Team. Paquin is a four-time All-MWLC First Team honoree and a two-time MWLC Midfielder of the Year (2019, shared in 2018) and was the MWLC Rookie of the Year (2016).

The Waukesha, Wisconsin native is Concordia Wisconsin's all-time leader in points (277), goals (218), shots attempted (335), shots on goal (335) and is tied for free-position goals (31). She is also second in assists (59). ground balls (200), caused turnovers (146) and game-winning goals (6).

Paquin ended the 2019 season with 80 points, 67 goals, 13 assists, 61 ground balls, 73 draw controls and 55 caused turnovers. During her time the Falcons won the MWLC regular season and tournament titles during her rookie season and compiled a 46-15 overall record and a 37-7 record during league play.
