Woodman earned MWLC Defensive Player of the Week accolades

MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- Concordia Wisconsin's Ellie Woodman earned Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference Defensive Player of the Week, the league office announced.

Woodman (Janesville, Wis.) helped the Falcons defense with six ground balls, five draw controls and two caused turnovers in a 15-9 win at Cornell College Friday before recording four ground balls, four draw controls and four caused turnovers in the 20-11 win at Monmouth.

The conference weekly honor is the first of the season and second of her career.
