ANGOLA, Ind. – Natasha Wanless scored her team-leading 16th goal of the season, but Concordia Wisconsin fell to Trine 3-1 in their regular season finale on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Falcons will be the No. 5 seed in the Slaats Cup Playoffs.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Thunder struck first halfway through the first period with a goal by Theresa DiMaggio.
-DiMaggio added another goal 1:20 into the second frame, which would end up being the game-winner for Trine.
-Wanless (Madison, Wis.) put the Falcons in the board by taking advantage of a power-play opportunity at 13:43 in the third. Ellie Woodman (Janesville, Wis.) and Kristen Kennedy (London, Ontario) assisted on the goal.
-One minute after Wanless scored, Sula Argyris scored for Trine to cap off the game.
-The Falcons outshot the Thunder 30-27.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
-This was the fourth time in program history that Concordia Wisconsin has faced Trine. The Falcons and Thunder have split the series 2-2.
