Pattengale named NCHA Defensive Player of the Week

DULUTH, Minn. - Christina Pattengale has been named the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced.

Pattengale shut out the Wildcats in Concordia Wisconsin's 2-0 victory over St. Catherine on Friday. The senior had 31 saves to hold the Wildcats scoreless to record her sixth career shutout. On Saturday, she made 25 saves over the first two periods to keep her team in the game at the time, totaling a .955 save percentage and 63 saves in the weekend series (1.51 GAA).

This is the second time this season and the fifth time in her career that Pattengale has won the award.
