Women's Golf begins season at UW-Oshkosh Fall Classic

OSHKOSH, Wis. -- Concordia Wisconsin began the 2019-20 season at the difficult UW-Oshkosh Fall Classic and finished 10th overall as a team, with Amy Carpenter leading the lineup, at Oshkosh Country Club.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Concordia Wisconsin began the fall portion of its 2019-20 schedule with a 10th place finish at the UW-Oshkosh Fall Classic. The Falcons shot a 402 in the opening round before carding a 422 on Sunday for an 824 total.
- Junior Amy Carpenter (Elk Grove Village, Ill.) paced the lineup with a 195 total (93-102) to finish in a tie for 29th. Her opening round of 93 was the lowest of any Falcon during the tournament.
- Junior Molly Mundinger (West Bend, Wis.) shot a 201 (99-102) to finish in 40th place, while freshman Gabrielle Flocco (Castle Pines, Colo.) had a 206 total (98-108) to tie for 45h.
- Senior Taylor Chisolm (Lindenhurst, Ill.) had 225 strokes (112-113) and freshman Madison Ferch (Davenport, Iowa) ended with a 228 (118-110). Hanah Conger (Davenport, Iowa) rounded out the lineup with a 273 total (139-134).
- Host UW-Oshkosh won the team trophy with a 655 total (330-325).
- Erika Priebe (UW-Oshkosh) won medalist honors with a 156 total (77-79) to win by four strokes.

NEXT ON THE SCHEDULE
- Concordia Wisconsin will compete in the NACC Preview Event next Sunday (September 8) at Meadowbrook Country Club in Racine, Wisconsin.
