Falcons drain 15 3s in blowout road win

CHICAGO -- It didn't take long for Concordia Wisconsin to overwhelm Illinois Tech by outscoring the hosts 30-9 in the opening quarter en route to a 99-42 NACC victory on Saturday afternoon inside the Keating Sports Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Concordia Wisconsin drained four-consecutive 3-pointers to own a 12-2 lead and never look back. They would go on to make 15 3-pointers in the victory and have 11 players score. Junior Emily Hafemann (Hales Corners, Wis.) led all players with 21 points on 9-of-11 shooting (three 3-pointers), while sophomore Aubrey Buchholtz (Seymour, Wis.) had 13 points off the bench. Junior Hannah Boettcher (Columbus, Wis.) scored 11 points.
- Freshman Camryn Kratt (Cudahy, Wis.) had a noteworthy game with five points, six rebounds, five steals and three assists. Senior Kaitlyn Foster (Janesville, Wis.) also had five points and five assists.
- Concordia Wisconsin shot 56.9 percent in the game and held a 43-25 rebounding advantage. They also hauled in 12 offensive rebounds and turned those second chances into 13 points. As well, they scored 42 points in the paint.
- Illinois Tech was led by Shannon O'Donnell's 19 points and even rebounds.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Concordia Wisconsin set a program game record with its 15 3-pointers made and the 99 points were the second-most ever scored in a game. The 56.9 percent is the fourth-best percentage and the 24 assists were tied for the fifth-most in a game in program history.
- In the three all-time meetings against the Scarlet Hawks, the Falcons have scored 99, 97 and 94 points and won by an average of 57 points.
