Women’s Basketball season comes to a close

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Concordia Wisconsin's season came to an end on Saturday night with a 67-47 loss to Wisconsin Lutheran during the NACC Tournament Championship.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Concordia Wisconsin did everything they could to play its brand of basketball, but Wisconsin Lutheran pulled away early to build a nine-point advantage after the opening quarter. The Falcons deficit was 36-21 at the intermission.
- The visitor's strongest quarter was the fourth, where they went 7-of-9 from the free throw line and scored 15 points.
- Senior Baylee Barker (Oconomowoc, Wis.) led the Falcons with 13 points, while senior Ashley Solberg (Waukesha, Wis.) had 12 points. Sophomore Emily Hafemann (Hales Corners, Wis.) added 10 points and junior Clara Chambers (Mineral Point, Wis.) scored eight points.
- Wisconsin Lutheran's Jen Dowden led all players with 30 points and 11 rebounds. Lexi Reinke had 12 points and Kelly Tramburg recorded 11 points and eight rebounds.

SENIORS
- Barker and Solberg and manager Anne Gierach helped the Falcons compile an 81-27 overall record, which included three-consecutive appearances in the NACC Tournament Championship game.
