CUW at WLC battle will highlight Saturday women's basketball action

MEQUON, Wis.- The North and South Division champions will lock heads this Saturday at Wisconsin Lutheran at 1:00pm in a game that will determine the number one seed in the Northern Athletics Conference Tournament that begins the following weekend.

Wisconsin Lutheran is 15-0 in the NAC South and 20-2 overall. The Warriors' only losses came to out of state foes DePauw and Whittier early in the season and they own a 12 game win streak. WLC is overwhelming the opposition by over 20 points per game on average.

Concordia Wisconsin is 14-2 in the NAC North and 17-6 in all games. CUW has won 11 of their last 12 contests.

Both schools have their divisions wrapped up but the prize Saturday is home turf for the entire NAC tournament that beins on the 16th.

Quarterfinals - Saturday, Feb. 16, 7 p.m.

#6 seed at #3 seed
#5 seed at #4 seed

Semifinals - Wednesday, Feb. 20*, 7 p.m.
#1/8 vs. #4/5
#2/7 vs. #3/6

*Should Maranatha advance to the semifinal round, both semifinal games will be played on Thursday, Feb. 21, 7 p.m.

Final - Saturday, Feb. 23, 7 p.m.
at higher seed

Tournament champion becomes the conference's automatic qualifier in the 2013 NCAA III Tourney.
