MEQUON, Wis.- Perennially powerful Lakeland is just 1-3 on the season, but 1-0 in conference action.  The Muskies, featuring three returning starters, opened the season with losses at UW-River Falls and home against St. Norbert before trouncing MSOE 83-42 in their NAC opener last Saturday and then falling to UW-Oshkosh Monday night.

They are led offensively by Leah Eisner who is averaging 13.7 points per outing.  Dan Hendrichs (10.7) and Becky Mayo (10.0) are the team's other double figure scorers.  Henrichs and Aimee Thrune combined to hit 9 of 10 three pointers in the rout of MSOE.  LC has been shooting just under 40% from the field and 65% from the charity stripe.

LC is also a strong rebounding team with Mayo and Taylor Jandrin leading the team in that column.

Lakeland and CUW tied for second in the NAC North final standings last season at 13-5.  The Muskies won both regular season matches (53-51 and 54-50), but the Falcons turned the tables in the playoffs with a 56-44 victory.
