Men’s Cross Country secures sixth-place finish at NACC

WEST ALLIS, Wis. – The Concordia runners finished in sixth place at the 2019 NACC Cross Country Championships. The Falcons finished with 158 points. MSOE won the NACC title with 38 points.

Sophomore Jack Kral (Kohler, Wis.) led CUW in 18th place with a time of 29:30.33.

In 28th place was senior Ryan Teigen (Fargo, N.D.) at 30:25.13.

Sophomore William Ebel (Macomb, Mich.) and freshman Zachary Heckman (Sussex, Wis.) posted a back-to-back finish in 37th and 38th place with times of 31:14.33 and 31:39.47.

Freshman Quinn Hoopman (Cedar Grove, Wis.) crossed the finish line at 32:35.40 in 45th place.

Finishing at 33:30.34 in 48th place was sophomore Derrick Folkman (Bonduel, Wis.).

Freshman Derek Ruona (Grafton, Wis.) ran a time of 33:58.23 in 54th place.

Freshman Tim Steinke (Brookfield, Wis. secured a time of 36:14.64 in 69th place.

Sophomore Emmett Williams (Hartford, Wis.) rounded out the CUW times in 70th place at 36:45.44.

Blake Bostwick of MSOE won with a time of 27:34.66.

The Falcons will compete at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regionals on Nov. 16.
