Wesley Schiek named NACC Athlete of the Week

MEQUON, Wis. – Wesley Schiek continued to rake in the accolades on Tuesday morning. The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference announced Schiek as the Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week.

This is the second time this year that the freshman from Oshkosh, Wisconsin has claimed the title.

On Saturday, Schiek was named the NACC Runner of the Year and NACC Freshman of the Year.

The CUW freshman finished in second place at 24:48.71. His best time at CUW and the fastest-Falcon time of the season.

The Falcons finished in third place, the highest finish at the NACC Championships since 2011.

Schiek and the Falcons will compete at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional on Nov. 7 at UW-Eau Claire.
