Reese runs to NACC Men's Cross Country Weekly Award

MILWAUKEE – Craig Reese had a strong showing at the UW-Eau Claire Blugold Invitational Friday and was rewarded for his efforts, being named the NACC Men's Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week for the events of September 24-30, the league office announced Tuesday.

Reese (Germantown, Wis.) placed 40th in the 8K at the UW-Eau Claire which featured several of the top teams in the Midwest Region. The junior was the top finishing NACC runner at the event, completing the course in a time of 26:02.5. The event featured 430 runners and 29 teams as the Falcons finished 16th in the team standings.

Reese and the Falcons will run at the Benedictine Eagle Invite on Friday with the men's race slated to start at 4 p.m.
