Men's Volleyball season concludes with setback at No. 5 Benedictine

LISLE, Ill. – The inaugural season for the Concordia University Wisconsin Men's Volleyball team came to an end Saturday with a 3-0 defeat against No. 5 Benedictine.

- Records: Benedictine 20-5, 10-2 NACC; CUW 0-26, 0-12 NACC

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Eagles rolled in the first set, 25-7 thanks to a .450 attack percentage. The Falcons improved in each set, dropping the second, 25-13, and the third, 25-18.

- Benedictine finished the game with a .373 attack percentage compared to -.174 for the Falcons. CUW was paced by Sam Rovik (Silver Lake, Wis.) and Braden Persinger (Reedsville, Wis.), each player finishing with three kills.

- Matthew Korman (Roscoe, Ill.) and Isaac Glynn (Byron, Minn.) dished out seven and six assists, respectively, for the Falcons. Zach Smith (Massillon, Ohio) and Persinger each totaled five digs. Glynn added two service aces for the Falcons.

THE OPPOSITION
- Nick Malak led Benedictine with eight kills. Joe Lock tallied 24 assists for the Eagles.
