Men’s Tennis Posts a Valiant Effort in the NACC Tournament Finals

KOHLER, Wis. – The Falcons fought until the bitter end on Sunday afternoon in the NACC Tournament Finals. The Blue and White fell to the top-seeded Scarlet Hawks of Illinois Tech, 5-2. The Falcons finished 2021 with a winning record at 8-7.

The duo of junior Logan Snyder (Franklin, Ind.) and senior Nolan Rademacher (Monument, Colo.) put the Falcons on top early with a quick 8-1 victory at No. 1 doubles.

Illinois Tech took the lead after doubles play with victories at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles.

Nolan Rademacher claimed the lone singles victory with a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 3 singles.

The Falcons did not fold in singles play on Sunday. At the time the match was called, Logan Snyder was up a set at No. 1 singles and junior Tim Peters (Slinger, Wis.) just forced a third set at No. 2 singles.

Illinois Tech heads to the NCAA Division III Tournament with a perfect 7-0 record.
