Men's Tennis clinches No. 2 seed in NACC Tournament with win over Eagles

MEQUON, Wis. – The Falcons defeated the Eagles in their final home match of the regular season, clinching the No. 2 seed in the NACC Tournament in the process. Concordia Wisconsin earned the 7-1 win over Edgewood on Friday evening.

THE BASICS
-Final Score: CUW 7, EC 1
-Order of Finish: Doubles (2,1), Singles (4,2,1,3)
-Records: CUW 14-7 (7-1 NACC), EC 6-13 (5-3 NACC)

HOW IT HAPPENED
-In doubles, the Falcons split the two matches that were played with the Eagles. Nolan Rademacher (Monument, Colo.) and Nathan Raskin (Shorewood, Wis.) earned an 8-6 win at the No. 2 spot, though the Eagles won the No. 1 match 8-4.
-The Eagles defaulted the No. 3 doubles match.
-In singles, the Falcons won all four matches played.
-Logan Snyder (Franklin, Ind.) won his match first with a 6-2, 6-1 victory at No. 4 singles.
-Christian Docter (Madison, Wis.) followed with a 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 2.
-Rademacher won his No. 1 match 6-2, 6-1.
-Finally, Peter Kloda (Morton Grove, Wis.) won his No. 3 match in a 6-3, 3-6, 13-11 battle.
-The Eagles defaulted the No. 5 and 6 singles matches.
