Men's Tennis falls against Lawrence

GLENDALE, Wis. – The Concordia University Wisconsin men's tennis team was blanked in a non-conference match against Lawrence, 9-0, Friday night at the Paley Tennis Center.

Junior Skip Turner (Eau Claire, Wis.) played the closest singles match of the night for CUW as he went to a tiebreaker set against Cooper Smith of Lawrence but ultimately fell, 6-2, 4-6, 1-0 (6).

The duo of freshman Terry Jones (Maywood, Ill.) and Antoine Leon provided the closest doubles match of the evening, falling at No. 2 doubles against the Vikings Smith and Jeremy Andereck.

Concordia Wisconsin returns to the court next Friday night when they visit the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh for a dual match at 7 p.m.
