Trio of Falcons named All-NACC

MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- Concordia Wisconsin had three players earn All-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference honors on Wednesday, which was announced by the league office.

Forward Jackson Dryden earned All-NACC First Team recognition, while defender Owen Hanisko and midfielder Will King were tagged with All-NACC Second Team accolades.

Dryden, a native of Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, led the Falcons with 28 points (12 goals, four assists) which ranked sixth in the NACC. His 12 goals was the fourth most in the league. The sophomore had a goal in nine games and two scores in three contests. The 6-foot-2 student-athlete also had four game-winning goals.

Hanisko started all 16 matches he played in and helped the Falcons defense ranked third-best in the NACC with a 1.14 goals-against average. The senior from Hartford, Wisconsin guided the defense to the tune of nine shuts, including four in a row in the early half of the season.

King started all 19 matches played this season and tallied a pair of goals, with one being a game-winner. The sophomore from Maidenhead, England took 32 shots and helped the Falcons defense shut down the opposition on their home turf with a 7-1-1 record. During victories, this season the Falcons had a 0.31 goals-against average.

The Falcons ended the 2019 season with a 13-5-1 overall record and a 7-3-1 NACC record. They had the No. 5 seed in the NACC Tournament.
